What a few months for Matty Longstaff!

Not many people can have a Premier League Debut quite like Matty Longstaff and it was definitely one to remember as he scored in the 72nd minute against Manchester United to give his Newcastle United side a 1-0 victory. This goal from distance resulted in the 19 year old midfielder winning the Premier League Goal of the Month for October aswell as keeping his place in the side to face Chelsea and Wolves to finish October having only missed 1 minute of Newcastle’s Premier League fixtures.

On 8th November Matty received his first international call up to the England U20 side going on to make his debut during a 4-0 win over Portugal a week later.
