Vaclav Hladky signs for Ipswich Town
Everyone at Beswicks Sports is pleased to have assisted VM Agency on the transfer of Vaclav Hladky.
The Czech goalkeeper is on the move down south from Salford FC to Ipswich Town. When it comes to experienced goalkeepers Hladky is second to know with an outstanding record of 18,000 playing minutes. He certainly knows what it takes to win aswell after recently securing himself the football league trophy with Salford.
When Ipswich had the opportunity to sign the PFA league two team of the year goalkeeper they could not refuse. Vaclav, who also picked up the Golden Glove award last campaign following an impressive 22 clean sheets in 46 league games.
Ipswich boss Paul Cook added, “The goalkeeper is such an important position on the pitch and once again our owners have backed us with this signing. He will have a massive part to play for us next season. This is another part of the jigsaw that we are putting together.”
Likewise, Hladky was just as excited to be involved after claiming “It’s been an absolutely perfect day. I’ve signed the contract and I’m so happy to be here. Ipswich Town is a huge club, so it was a quick decision. I got the offer and I said ‘yes I want to be there’ straight away. I share the vision of the Club and I can’t wait to get started.”
