Patrick Metcalfe makes his MLS Debut for Vancouver Whitecaps

Congratulations to Patrick Metcalfe on making his MLS Debut last night for the Vancouver Whitecaps as he got the start against Toronto FC. He played 90 minutes in a central midfield role in a 1-0 loss.

Patrick made his Debut for the Whitecaps during the MLS Is Back tournament in a 4-3 loss against Seattle Sounders coming off the bench. The 21 year old midfielder became their 20th Academy Product to sign a Homegrown Contract on 23rd January 2020. 

The Canadian has been with the club since March 2016 when he joined the U18s before progressing through the academy via the development side.
