2020 MLS Season Begins!
The first weekend of the 2020 MLS Season has been completed so below is a quick recap on how the season has begun for our clients.
Inter Miami CF began their inaugural MLS Season away at LAFC. Lewis Morgan played 79 minutes on his MLS Debut for his new Miami side since his transfer from the SPL with Celtic. Mark Anthony Kaye played 60 minutes for the Western Conference Champions.
Anton Walkes made his second debut for Atlanta United as he signed permanently from Portsmouth after playing for the club on loan in 2017. The fullback played 90 minutes for the Five Stripes in their 2-1 victory away at Nashville. Laurence Wyke made his MLS Debut and played 45 minutes for Atlanta United after signing a short term deal with the MLS side a few days earlier.
Jack Price played 90 minutes and captained the Colorado Rapids to a 2-1 victory against DC United in the very first game of the season where he got his first assist of the season to set up the equaliser for the Rapids.
Brandon Bye played 90 minutes for the New England Revolution in their opening match of the season in a 2-1 loss against the Montreal Impact.
Patrick Seagrist made his MLS Debut for the New York Red Bulls after being selected by the side in the First Round of the 2020 MLS SuperDraft. He played 90 minutes in their 3-1 home victory against FC Cincinnati.
Jonathan Osorio played 90 minutes for Toronto FC in their 2-2 draw against San Jose Earthquakes in their opening match. Liam Fraser came on as a substitute and played the last 15 minutes for Toronto.
Santiago Patino came off the substitutes bench for the last 7 minutes of Orlando City’s opening home game in their 0-0 draw with Real Salt Lake.
Dayne St Clair and Jose Aja were both unused substitutes for Minnesota United in their 3-1 victory away at the Portland Timbers.
Patrick Metcalfe was an unused substitute for Vancouver Whitecaps in their 3-1 defeat to Sporting Kansas City.
