Michael Petrasso joins Barnet on loan from the CPL

Michael Petrasso has joined English National League side Barnet FC on loan from Canadian Premier League side York9 FC. The 25 year old Canadian International has signed a new contract with his CPL Side and will rejoin them at the end of June 2021.

The winger began his career as an academy player in Toronto before making the move to the UK. He built up experience of playing in the Football League during his time in England with Queens Park Rangers, Oldham Athletic and Leyton Orient. A move back to Canada followed as he joined Montreal Impact ahead of their 2018 MLS Season. Petrasso joined York 9 in January 2020 where he recently signed a two year contract extension.
