Mal Benning signs a new contract with Port Vale 

Congratulations to Mal Benning on signing a new contract with Port Vale after a successful first season after arriving last summer from Mansfield Town where he made over 250 appearances for the Stags. Mal featured 36 times last season for Darrell Clarke’s side as they secured promotion via the Play-Offs.

The 28 year old played a central role in Vale’s Play-Off success putting in standout performances against Swindon Town and Mansfield Town where he scored in the Final at Wembley where he also assisted their opening goal in their 3-0 win.
