Lewis Morgan wins Inter Miami MVP

Inter Miami CF announced today that Lewis Morgan has been named the clubs Most Valuable Player in the Club’s inaugural season. The winger was fantastic through the entire season as he topped the clubs scoring and assists charts with 5 and 8 respectively as he helped the side clinch their spot in the MLS Playoffs.

The 24 year old joined the club in January 2020 from Celtic and made an impact straight away getting the assist for the club’s first ever MLS goal back in March. Lewis started in all 23 regular season matches and the playoff fixture which made him the only player on the inaugural roster to achieve the mark.

Lewis was a standout figure in the 2020 MLS Season as he finished the campaign tied first in the MLS with 14 big chances created and second in total chances with 65 behind Alejandro Pozuelo’s 70 who was named the MLS 2020 MVP.
