Lewis Morgan makes his MLS Debut for Inter Miami CF

Lewis Morgan has made his first MLS Appearance as the Scottish International was named in the starting line up for Inter Miami against LAFC. Lewis played 79 minutes on his debut in their 2-1 loss but will be looking for his new side to pick up their first points of the 2020 MLS Season next weekend against D.C United.

This is Lewis’ first season outside Scotland as he broke through to first team football playing for St Mirren in the Scottish Championship. He was their star player in their promotion season to the SPL. Lewis completed a move to Celtic for an undisclosed fee in January 2018 when he signed a 4 and a half year contract with the club. Lewis played for Celtic in both the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Europa League before signing for Inter Miami in January 2020.
