Laurence Wyke makes his MLS Debut for Atlanta United

Laurence Wyke is an English defensive player who currently plays in the USL Championship for Atlanta United 2. He made 29 appearances for them as a rookie in the 2019 season scoring 3 goals. The 23 year old began his career at Manchester United between 2004-13 before he pursued a move to North America to study and play college soccer at Trinity University and Furman University.

Laurence signed a short term deal on February 29th with Atlanta United to be included in their squad for their opening match in the 2020 MLS Season against Nashville. Laurence played 45 minutes after coach Frank de Boer chose to play Laurence on the right side of a back 3.
