Jonathan Bond joins #TeamBeswicks
Jonathan Bond is a 27 year old English Goalkeeper with 7 caps for England at U21 & U20, however he previously played for Wales at U17 and U19 level before changing his international allegiance in 2013. He famously scored an equalising goal for Wales U17s in their UEFA Qualifying match against Russia in October 2009.
Bond began his career at Watford coming through the youth and reserve teams at Vicarage Road. He made his first team debut for on 2nd January 2012. In 2015 he moved on to sign for Reading for an undisclosed fee before loan spells for Gillingham and Peterborough.
On 16 July 2018 Bond joined West Bromwich Albion and was part of the 2019/20 squad that got the Baggies back promoted to the Premier League.
Bond had an exceptionally high 66% clean sheet record in the FA cup last season and we look forward to working with him.
