Dillon Phillips wins ‘Player of the Year’ award for Charlton Athletic
Phillips joins the famous accolade of Goalkeepers for Charlton to take home the annual award after playing 100% of the minutes played in the championship last season, in addition to maintain 9 clean sheets.
Phillips has been at the club from an early age and had loan spells with Bishop Stortford and Whitehawk, but now has cemented his name as the first one on the team sheet for Charlton week in week out.
Picking up over 50% of the votes Dillon was the clear winner and he said ““I’m over the moon, but I’m just happy that I’ve done my bit this season, It helps that I’ve come through the academy and I think the fans appreciate that. A few of the boys have done excellently this year as well”.
