Deanne Rose signs for Reading FC Women
The midfielder joins Kelly Chambers’ side after graduating from the University of Florida.
While in the US, Rose featured for Florida Gators before being chosen as the 10th draft pick by North Carolina Courage in January 2021. After four years with the Gators, the 22-year-old will land in Berkshire after her current involvement in the Tokyo Olympic Games.
Rose has over 50 caps already for Canada since making her debut as a 16-year-old back in 2015. Her international success includes a silver medal at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio.
Royals manager Chambers told the club website; “Deanne is extremely ambitious and is a player that wants to take her game to the next level. “She has the drive and determination to want to be the best, and I am so excited to work with her to support her ambitions alongside pushing the team to the next level!”
Well done Deanne and good luck with The Royals!
