Dario Zanatta signs for Ayr United

On July 21st 2020 Dario Zanatta has signed for Scottish Championship side Ayr United on a one year contract.

The 23 year old Canadian forward grew up playing for Vancouver Whitecaps Residency in 2011 when he was 14. He left the MLS Side in 2015 when he pursued a career in Europe where he signed his first professional contract on 6th August 2015 with Scottish Premiership side Heart of Midlothian. He went on to make his first team debut on 31st October.

In August 2016 Zanatta was called up to the Canada U20 side and was named in their squad for the CONCACAF U20 Championships in 2017. Just before COVID 19 Zanatta was named to the Canada U23 provisional squad for the 2020 CONCACAF Olympic Qualifying Championships.
